In 2011, Moondog Leather Co. was born in the small mountain town of Minturn, Colorado, driven by a passion to stay connected to music and that creative spark that burns in every musician, music lover, and artist. We started with a simple guitar strap. For the past 13 years, we’ve scoured the world for the finest materials, sourcing Horween’s legendary leathers, crafted in Chicago since 1905, and relying on time-honored tools, vintage machines, and old school techniques. Our designs are simple, timeless, and built to endure. With a touch of your own L-I-V-I-N, some real life rubbed into the edges, our goods take on a soul of their own, and that's when they truly shine.
